Glenda Beckwith, Owner and Tour Guide
Hi I'm Glenda!
I’m a wildlife and landscape photographer, outdoor enthusiast, and the owner of Nature Exposed Tours. My love for photography goes hand in hand with my love of being outdoors—whether I’m hiking, fly fishing, watching wildlife, or waiting for that perfect light to transform a landscape.
I founded Nature Exposed Tours in 2019 because I wanted to share more than beautiful destinations. I wanted to create photography adventures where people could slow down, experience nature, improve their photography, and enjoy the journey without worrying about all the planning that goes into getting there.
As your guide, I’m there to help you get into the right place at the right time and make the most of every photographic opportunity. Whether we’re photographing wildlife, dramatic landscapes, wildflowers, or the night sky, I’m happy to help with camera settings, composition, changing light, and understanding animal behavior. Just as importantly, I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and photographing at your own pace.
For me, a successful tour isn’t measured only by the photographs you bring home. It’s also about the places you experience, the people you meet, what you learn along the way, and the memories you make.
Nature has given me some unforgettable moments behind the camera, and one of my favorite parts of this work is helping others experience those moments for themselves.
I hope you’ll join me on an adventure.
Patty Recca, Tour Guide, Nature and Wildlife Photographer
Hi, I’m Patty!
Photography has been a lifelong passion for me, and I’m especially drawn to the beauty and unpredictability of the natural world. From photographing night skies and dramatic landscapes to underwater scenes and wildlife such as grizzly bears, I love the challenge of capturing moments that tell the story of a place and its wild inhabitants.
As a tour guide with Nature Exposed Tours, I get to combine two things I truly enjoy—photography and helping others experience nature through their cameras. I love sharing what I’ve learned and helping guests feel more confident with their photography while we explore some incredible locations together.
Whether we’re waiting for the perfect light, watching wildlife from a safe distance, or working through camera settings in the field, I’m there to help make the experience both productive and enjoyable.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll often find me hiking, camping, or heading off-road in my Jeep. I’ve always enjoyed exploring places that get me closer to nature, and that sense of adventure is something I bring to every tour.
For me, photography is about more than coming home with a great image. It’s about slowing down, observing what’s around you, and creating memories from places and moments you may never experience quite the same way again.
I look forward to sharing the adventure with you.
Carla Fink - Logistics Specialist at Nature Exposed Tours
Hi, I’m Carla!
Travel has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Japan as the daughter of missionary parents, which gave me an early appreciation for different cultures, new places, and the experiences that come from exploring the world.
I also spent much of my career in the airline industry, where planning, organization, and attention to detail were part of everyday life. That experience has been a perfect fit for my role with Nature Exposed Tours.
As the logistics specialist, I help coordinate the many details that go into making each trip run as smoothly as possible. From travel planning and schedules to the behind-the-scenes details guests may never see, my goal is to help create an organized, enjoyable experience so you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying the adventure and your photography.
Having traveled extensively myself, I understand how much a well-planned trip can affect the entire experience. I enjoy helping bring all the pieces together and making sure our guests feel taken care of along the way.
I’m also fluent in Japanese and have a deep appreciation for meeting people from different backgrounds and experiencing new cultures.
For me, being part of Nature Exposed Tours means helping create t
OUR MISSION
At Nature Exposed Tours, our mission is to create unforgettable small-group photography adventures that give you the time, access, and guidance to truly experience the places you photograph.
We personally scout our destinations and plan each trip around the best photographic opportunities. From dramatic landscapes and wildlife to wildflowers, waterfalls, and night skies, we work to put you in the right place at the right time while taking care of many of the details along the way.
Our tours are intentionally kept small, with groups of about 4–6 guests. This allows us to provide a more personal experience, spend more time with each photographer, and avoid the rushed feeling that can come with larger group tours.
Whether you are an experienced photographer or still learning your camera, our guides are there to help when you need it. We provide practical, hands-on photography guidance in the field, including help with camera settings, composition, changing light, and photographing wildlife safely and respectfully.
Most importantly, we believe a great photography tour should be about more than simply checking locations off a list. We take the time to slow down, observe, and enjoy the experience so you have the opportunity to create photographs that are meaningful to you.
Our goal is simple: to help you come home with beautiful images, new skills, memorable experiences, and stories you will want to share for years to come.
