TRIP DESCRIPTION

Ah, Colorado! A paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike, where every season offers a unique canvas of breathtaking beauty. We are thrilled to share our insights on capturing the awe-inspiring wildflowers and landscapes of Colorado during the explosion of colors in the spring. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or a budding enthusiast, this seasons offers an unparalleled opportunity to enhance your skills while soaking in nature's grandeur.

Spring in Colorado is nothing short of a visual symphony. The wildflowers with their vivid colors against the contrasting aspens and evergreen pines with the cobalt blue skies makes for breath taking landscape image —that seem to have been painted by Mother Nature herself.

TRIP DETAILS

Start Location: Gunnison, CO.  (Must arrive by 2pm)

Staying in Gunnison, CO

Meet and Greet at 5pm at our hotel in Gunnison


End Location: Gunnison, CO
Drop off at 1:pm

Expect warm pleasant days with cold mornings and nights. The weather can prove unpredictable in Colorado in the Spring and can change on a moment’s notice. Remember some of the best photographs are made before, during and immediately after a storm cycle. There is no such thing as bad weather just poor layering and gear choices – please plan accordingly!    Make sure you are prepared for rain and snow!

Day 1 Travel Day (Dinner will be provided)

If flying, arrive in Gunnison Regional Airport by 2pm. We will be staying in Gunnison, Colorado for our base location. Please meet in the hotel lobby and we will be going over gear and itinerary. Dinner to follow.

Day 2 ( B,D)

We’ll get started early on our first morning, setting off pre-dawn to set up for an sunrise location. We will start looking for the lighting hitting the aspen leaves. We’ll be looking for wildflowers with mountains as our backgrounds. We will be traveling to Crested Butte for a day of shooting.

Day 3 ( B,L,D)

We will be getting up early to catch the sunrise and start our journey up the the mountains pass to photograph wildflowers on Kebler Pass. We will also venture to a grove of aspens.We will be using the mountains as our background for the spring flowers.

Day 4 ( B )

This will be our final sunrise of our amazing trip. On our way back to town we will be still looking for spring flowers. We will also be looking for wildlife as we make our way back to Gunnison for breakfast and our goodbys.
